Jim, most of my builds are made of meranti wood ; nice, hard & easy to work with.

Sounds great! I've used about a dozen different woods for necks but am not familiar with meranti. I'll have to look it up.

"Looks Good & Sounds Good", also good to see that I'm not the only one that uses Meranti, a good looking, easy to work with, but highly under rated Timber !!!
