Rockin' Pneumonia & the Boogie Woogie Flu (a pre-coffee cover)

It's been a while since I've done a pre-coffee cover so here's a quick one on a Sunday morning. This is a classic 1957 Huey Smith song better known for the 1972 Johnny Rivers version. The Hobo Fiddle is a challenging instrument to sing with because it's quiet and therefore easy to overpower with your voice.

  • Ha ha. I guess she had the Boogie Woogie Flu.

  • Great to hear the Hobo Fiddle Kale! Fun song and a great choice. One of the older Slingers wasn’t feeling well one night and we Dad joked the song title for the next week. We found out the following week when she told us she did not realize it was an actual song! We all laughed.

  • Thanks Derek and t-belly.

  • Good cover on this old classic, Kale. Nobody gets the flu anymore ;^)

  • Never heard the tune before but I like it and you did a good job. You got the sound balance just right ;)

  • Indeed it is AGP. Thanks for watching.

  • "An Oldie", But!, "A Goodie"   :-)

  • Thanks Unc.
