Thanks Derek. I never ceased to be amazed when just 1-finger chords yield a a good sounding arrangement of a tune. Most of the players in our group would never be able to play the finger busting minor and seventh shapes anyway.
I agree with you Dave. Zoom is definitely lack for musical jams; however, it has proved to be a way to continue to connect with and encourage other cigar box guitarslingers!
Thanks again Poorness. We try to keep our song selection broad.
Thanks James! With one finger chords there is some movement up and down the neck, it is fun to play and sing. The cool thing about our group is that others will choose songs I’m often familiar with but was off the radar. This is one of those songs I chased down to add to our songbook. Well worth the effort!!!
Thanks Dave. I wish I could hear them too; that is one of the drawbacks of Zoom. Maybe we will be able to meet in person again, in Spokane, in 2021. We have actually met more times via Zoom at this point than in person. With weekly meetings instead of monthly, it did not take long. Mike and Scott, pictured in the lower left and right corners are from Sacramento, that’s the cool part of Zooming, geography is no longer a problem!!! Anyone with an internet connect and Zoom can play!

Good sounding cowboy tune from the group.
Another fun song for the Slingers. Nice choice Doug.
Doug. Maybe Zoom will improve with time. Or another venue will appear made just for musicians. I bet it will happen within a year of isolation.
