Old blues. Possibly by Son House. This rendition uses lyrics similar to those used by Son House. My finger is blue from painter's tape and leaking a bit from a cut while slicing tators and onions. I''ll live. A while at least.

  • Thanks, Dave.  I am back to finger chording and picking today.

  • Sometimes blood helps the tone. I’ve split my nail on the diddle finger. Got to let it rest a while. Guitar finger blues.

  • Thanks, Dennis.  I think I know you like this kind of sound, song.  I really enjoy playing this plugged in LPG or my Swampy and getting loud on the blues.

  • Thanks, Kale.  Grit is good.

  • Another deep UJ track. I'm digging your style on this one. Gritty and raw ol' blues. A+

  • Thanks, Daniel, Danny, and Rick.  Bad old days when a person, especially a black one, could be put on a work hang for little or almost no wrong doing.

  • Like they say, I’d sure hate to see the tater! Back from the kitchen battlefield and fighting through injuries, UJ knocks one out the park! This has a Son House heartbeat, loved the LPG Diddley play and singing John!

  • great job Unc nothing like some good old Son House blues

  • onions are chock full of vitamin C. (haling your wound). your song is chock full of vitamin C. (clean and mean).

  • Thanks, Noisemaker!
