Not a cbg, but I used all the skills I learnt building them to tackle this 1960s Zenith. When it came to me it had most of the headstock broken off, and what was left had been drilled so many times it resembled cheese....The neck was banana'd and twisted, the fretboard was only 50% there, the frets were missing as were the inlays, the neck was seperate from the body, the back had been off and re-installed by, I assume, blind monkeys suffering from a serious hangover, and it was, generally, shagged.Apart from re-attaching and making up bits where need be, Iv added a big dirty humbucker and a subtle control plate with tone n vol pots. Currently set up for slide in open D, though it could do with some heavier strings. And no, I wont be finishing it - I like it the way it is - all beat up with the repairs glaringly obvious. Though I did add a semi-naked chick to the headstock to distract viewers.I wonder what Ivor would think....

Cheers fellas. Had to completely renew the fretboard and do some serious sanding to get it about level again, plus had to cut n shut the headstock, but other than that it was a pretty straight forward deal.
