Uke for a friend

Quick freebee build for a uke lovin' friend. She likes yellow and red and bling, hence the yellow Cuesta-Rey box with red tuners and red cigar band fret markers. Sound hole covers are earrings found at thrift store. Who says the good things in life aren't free

    Thanks for the comments, Bluesheart.  Yeah, not much acoustic sound to speak of, which is why this one has an undersaddle piezo pickup installed.

    Excellent job and a great look. I love those boxes although the tops are kind of thick. I'm sure she was thrilled!

    Good enough that I spent a whole damn day driving all over Knoxville to find a suitable red cigar box.  My friends are valuable to me, but the ones that love and inspire my musical endeavors are priceless.
