My Dad Otis Lynas originated these trade characters. They were carved in balsa and were jointed with pipe stem cleaners hinges and used for stop motion photography. This is where my art springs from.

John, I think this site lets us all see each other do our art. I sure love seeing and hearing your art. And Bones, when an Apple falls from my tree a chipmunk is there to eat it. Being around my house growing up, there was art everywhere. Dad painted knights in armor all over my bedroom walls. Our dining room table was a picnic table so we could paint, draw, sculpt and eat all at the same time.

Guess what my favorite cereal was, besides Wheaties? Dad carved marionettes for me. A two headed giant, Farfull the Swede dog, a prince and princess.
