  • Did consider that Tom... unfortunately the tuners are those trapeze shaped backed ones, and they were right up tight on the back so there was no room to turn them 90 degrees... sorted it by way of moving the jack and covering the space with a jack plate.
  • Can you rotate that tuner to the end of the piece instead of on the bottom? I can't tell if you have enough room for the tuners in the back.
  • Got any old angled guitar 1/4 input jacks (strat style)?
  • Ahhh.... so many options. I guess I coulda made a reso, an I certainly cant strain any more coffee. The real problem though is that I cant plug in - even with an angled jack there aint enough space between the tuner and the body. Ho hum....
  • Thats what I thought to 6 string P/U with a 4 stringer or the jack, So tell us what it be
  • I think we give up. What the hell is it already? I'd like to be able to get some sleep tonight.......
A six string pickup on a four string guitar?
  • It may just be a shadow but is the hole you drilled for the reso plate off center? Not sure if that'd be an error or not ha ha

I'd thought about the angled plug but couldn't tell if it'd fit in the space between the tuner and jack. I can't really tell from this angle though.
  • my first thought was what ju ju and diamond back said but now that i have studied it i see that the metal plate should be under the bridge and inset inside the lid of the box. the tuner idea is a cool one 2 at the head and 2 at the tail.
  • Well you can't strain your coffe now for a start ! as you have nicked the strainer lol !! and does the jack plug touch the tuner when you plug a lead in ? if so just buy a angled jack plug
    juju.
  • The jackplate
    Interferes with the tuner right?
