Very nice indeed. More four-stringers than three, which surprises me, but it takes all sorts. Some lovely colours on the tops there- clearly not varnished yesterday!
Thanks, Poorness, Ambrose, Daniel and Dave. I think these are all good players. The reso ( 2nd from the left) is my fave. It plays easy and sounds loud and good.
The one with the big F holes is the only one here that I did not make. It was made by Michael Ballerini, a good guy/artist/builder. It came to me as a 3 string and I made it a four and changed a couple minor things to suit me.
The paint can lid - hobo banjo is getting more use lately as I am trying (again) to learn some claw hammer style. I am proceeding at a snail's pace. About the same with the fiddle. I am working on a new 3 string fiddle that I hope will somehow make my play better. Isn't that always the hope?

Nice to be featured Uncle John. A fine row of history alive and well.

Nice to see they all made the move up the road safely 'UJ' :-)
Me too, Lonman. That is the one made by Michael Ballerini.
yup, like 'em all. I especially Iike the headstock shape on #3 from left
PS: I am going to put some red painted fret markers on the left guitar - Dave Lynas style.

Really nice Uncle John. Sweet set. Third from left is my favorite. Kudos!
