All wood Box. Mahogany sides, unknown hardwood top and bottom. Burnt sienna and ochre watercolor stain on the neck. Poly rub on varnish.

    The strings just fit the 12 inch scale D. They very in length depending on how they fit in the peg box of a viola. I don’t think they would fit a CBG unless it was a uke size. I use the bass two strings of a four pack.

    12 inch scale? wow. how long are viola strings? wonder how they would sound on a guitar? Are there 4 to a pack? Which 2 do you use? Color me curious.

    Yup, another 2 string fiddle. 12 inch scale and viola strings fit perfect Uncle. I’ve put the lower two strings on.
