  Thanks for the tips guys.  I was so anxious to string her up and play that I didn't even try to do anything to the tuners!

  Ask Bluesheart what type of paint to use, he's on my friends list, nice guy and will hook ya up. The crome on those tuners can be aged with salt water, Bob Harrison also has some more involved processes for aging metal, he is also on my friends list, friend those two and they can help ya out on that.

  Like the wear on the fret board.  Looks like maybe someone played a lot in the key of A.  I wonder about the marks over the 3rd fret.  Capo user??

   

  Yup, J.P.  The white tuners need work.  I would paint them black and rub most of the paint off when they were half dry.
