This was a bashed mandolin from a Good Will store and a cheap, crappy mando to begin with. Crappy tuners and poor working nut and saddle. Probably the worst problem is that the tail piece should be where Muriel's face is. I have it on the bottom and making the strings bend at 90 degrees. Not the best. Will put aside for a while. Sounds good electric and not so good acoustic. May end up a four stringer....

    Thanks John.  I like the funky look.  It 's really just the mando cut down and reinforced with a box top stuck on the top.
