Thanks Glenn. Thanks Uncle. I think it is easier than cutting a slot by hand. Just clamping glued up parts to make a box. The tuners face up cause the buttons hit the sides when turned right side up. Easy to turn in this position, but backwards to my habit.
It seems to work good Bones. With a one inch thick fretboard it put my pegs too low on the head for a regular head. This puts the tuner shafts at a good height.
