    Ya Uncle, I liked the photos of the neck and it was the cheapest neck available. In Poplar that is. It sure is flimsy in my book, but glue a stiff hardwood stick to it and it is fine. Tha guy makes nice oak ones too. Next time I'll get the oak neck blank!

    Dave, I have seen necks like that for sale on ebay.  It does look good.

    This came about with the eBay bought neck blank. The poplar blank looked weak to me, so I added a 1 inch thick Fretboard of hard Maple. It won't bow now!
