i changed the bridge cause the one in this pic was just to set the strings fer sound test. the video is done and i like the sound. so check out the acoustic vid on the nation,s video page.
the gold sound hole covers are bathtub drain covers and they can be bought in brass or crome plated metal and they can be bought at lowes hardware stores,look in the bathroom/ kitchen fixture department Al Allen. they do look like they were made specificly for cbg,s if you ask me.
when it gets to the Matchstick stage and you keep going that's what i call dedication bro ! , glad to hear no glue was harmed during the making of this reso , i'm still trying to tune that tunafish heheheheheh! what about building one of these ?
yep ju ju the old matchstick on the eyelids thursday night. had to get strings on it before i could rest. so i could hear the sound of it. now just a few things left, need to profile the neck,i can take the whole thing apart in just about ten minutes. no glue was harmed in the construction of this resonator cigar box guitar. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

it do got a metal sound like i like ta hear. i havent heard that particular sound since the harley davidson reso that i made went to michigan last christmas. the sound hole covers are bathtub drain covers,daniel. the can is actually a beef stew can but it is just like the tuna can in principal,you can tune a reso but you cant tunafish. thanks fellers fer the comments ----------video will happen soon.
