    Yep, that's the idea. I've been playing around with different numbers and types of magnets for different sounds. It's especially good if you have a mix of wound and unwound strings - the unwound strings are much louder, so this gives you a way to adjust.

    So the magnets are held in place due to their attraction to the washer underneath?  Cool!
