Lord Clinton Build # 4 (bottom)

This did have a pretty and nicely finished neck and headstock. I just did not like it, so I took off finish here and there for a relic look.I like these boxes a lot. not real wood, but they sound good. I've made them all a little different, including one where I reversed the lid to get a white top.All have piezos with loud and good sound. The white one is tuned DGB and the others are GDg.

  • Ah, but Ratty has more frets! I win.
  • The same shape and color theme fooled me Uncle. Wes is a lucky guy!
  • Nice set of tree, agree on the bottom on great looker, seems like a good player frets and all like the banjo head  to !

  • Dave, Wes has the top one, but yours is quite like it.  That American Ace thing came with a Hohner American Ace Harmonica.

  • The top one looks just like Ratty's neck. I think I have it with a changed top. .. American Ace?
  • LOL, Wes.

  • Thanks, Jerry.  I think Wes Carl has the top one.  Things have changed in the last 5 or more years.  The old boxes are scarcer and more pricey.  I still like a CBG that looks like it could have belonged to someone 'back in the day.'

  • never did meet Lord Clinton myself ........

  • I missed this bunch.,.,I always like those banjo style headstocks.,.,these 3 look great.,.,

  • I like the way you go back after ones you don't find right and mess with them again. I like doing that too. I keep learning more too.
