    Thanks guys.  I did reinforce the insdide of the box.  It is sturdy now.  It sounds good, but to me does not sound likd a dobro.   It sounds like my favorite cbgs, does not sound like a dobro to me.  It has decent unplugged volume, but is not as loud as I had hoped.  It has a piezo under the bridge mounted on a thin strip of wood.  It has a nice plugged roar.

    Hi Uncle John;

    I have a tin just about like yours and I have strated today to tune it into a guitar. I was woundering how your sound? I am thinking with all the "tin" it would sound like a Dobro (Not being a bad thing). Did you renforce the inside at all?
