  Thanks, Gary and James.  It is going to be a relic look without visible pickups.  I plan a piezo sandwiched on the side of the neck.

  That a nice box  put you a P 90 soapbar pickup in it would match that Picture perfectly Bet it'll be nice what ever you decide to use.  I'm go na build one with a P 90 soon

  Nice one Uncle. That box will rock! I do my blocks the same way. That's all you need in the inside for bracing. I did screw a brace under the bridge on my big tin guitar. Can't wait to see this one through. Happy building...
