A commission and my take on the Country Roads Banjo: 21" scale length, GDgd (42,26,18,12), alder neck, not sure what the fretboard is (some exotic wood that I had a piece of), a clone of a flatpup pickup, banjo head from the plastic container my wife's peach tea comes in, and lots of 3D printed components. This was a challenging build and I'm glad it's done!

Wow Uncle John! I think I've aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalmost arrived. Thanks.
Glad to hear you like it Alan! Not planning on doing another one. One of the guys in the Sacramento CBG Builders Group I Zoom with, Will King (a member at CBN), gave me a few tips on how to do it since he has made a few. Turned out my wife's blow dryer had enough heat to tighten up the plastic.

Love the look of this one Doug , a Master Builder and Banjo Player CBN member from a few years back by the name of Jim Morris, built a few Plastic Top Banjo's using Soda Bottles, and did do an instruction lesson on how to build one, I think he's no longer on the Cigar Box Nation Site, but he is definitely still on YouTube, going under the name of morbanjo, not sure if you can track down the original video, but if you do decide to ever do another one, I do have a copy of it, it's one of those Bucket List Builds I still haven't got around to doing
I appreciate the encouraging words Jonathan! This build had me trying a variety of new things; fortunately, they worked out.
