  • Nice! Looks like it'd be a lot of fun to play......wished we still lived closer for visits :-(

  • ...I think I used "for what it's worth"  a little loosely. "John" is a very worthy and  universal name.. particularly as I have had 2 Uncle John's. Knowing you Uncle gives continuity to the title and name.

  • Ha ha... For what it's worth, one of my middle names is John!

  • Thanks, Bob! Our next door neighbor seems to get mixed up and call my Bob. I do not mind a bit. Maybe I should have been a Bob. Ambrose.... not so much!
  • Nicely made Uncle J, just the job! DGB is a very versatile tuning... like the name too!

  • Thanks, Kale.  Yup.  DGB tuning.  Super easy zero, 1 and 2 finger chords in the key of C- plus can play in any key.

  • Nice looking build uncle. It would be good for chords with slide leads due to the frets only at the low end.

  • Thanks, guys. Yes, Jerry. A Gitty paint lid spun into a resonator. I like them.
  • Looks good UJ,,. is that a Gitty paint lid.,?  I need to finish up the one i'm working on.,

  • Simple and sweet. Good golly, Miss Molly!
