  Thanks, guys! No, no sound clip yet. I'm waiting on some slightly lighter E and A strings for this guy; I'll hit up a couple of my friends with others I've made to do a little recording, or I'll do it myself when this one settles in.

  Whoa! That was fast! Yes, but not normally the ones you see on this. I just strung it up, and I use these mondo strings to settle the neck. To be a geek, these strings are: E-.177, A-.155, D-.105, G-.095. I found this cat with lighter strings: G and D the same, but E is .155, and A is .130, for twenty bucks, and they work really well. He's on ebay, "weedwacker light". I'll try to pull off a sound sample with my brother ( the real musician Hilbers, who's posted all the nutso guitars). Brian
