Thanks for checking my guitar out! As far as making that or any of my guitars..I just do what I feel makes it what it becomes! That is how I got the idea of the neck on this one! Really only went from corner to corner on the box with the neck and thats it! Not sure how to help on the enlarging of photo though!
Hi Brian,
I noticed that I did'nt respond to your question on my "uke dulci" I'm not sure I understand your question on the tuners. I used a 3 on a plate machine. I hollowed out the center of the head then carefully located and drilled the holes for the posts. Feel free to contact me if you would like a better photo or have another question.
Do you have a new project in the works?
Cheers, Andy
If you plan to use real bass guitar strings, I think I would recommend real bass tuners. I'm even wishing I had used real tuners on my son's doodle bass: tweaking the eyebolt tuners requires a screwdriver. With WW strings, you might be able to get away with regular guitar tuners, I don't know.
Welcome aboard, Brian! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBB, CBU, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).
