  • the tuners were used.,.,the body remains.,.,getting ready to move the shop a 3rd time.,,.argh...

  • What was the fate of this?

  • Hoarder!     Me too.

  • Oh.,I pulled the tuners for use.,.,removed the bridge and fingerboard off the body.,,and stopped there.,,the landlord came by and saw the giant pile of cigar boxes, blanks and wood scraps, not to mention all the tools strewn around., called me a "hoarder" and I had to throw away 3/4 of my wood pile.,.,on man's trash.,,.

I hope to start building again soon.,thanks for asking.,.,whats new?

  • How did this end up, Jerry?

  • Turn the body upside down and build on it but keep the orig front exactly as it was found for a great story.. You know.. The one where Keith Richards fell over drunk into your guitar collection.. You tried to get the headstock back but the doctors 'lost' it after they had removed it from his spleen.

  • Someone threw away perfectly good guitar parts???

  • I Love trash day!  Lots of options there with nothing to lose! Guitar shaped kick drum? Add long neck for an acoustic bass? Remount neck with hinge for folding traveler? Folding long neck acoustic bass kickdrum floorlamp????

  • Thanks UJ and Wes.,.,I had not considered a uke.,. was full of snow.,.,drying her out now.,.

  • Oh no!   That is a Crapivarius 91B.  I just saw one in nice shape on ebay with 34 bids and it was up to $3460.00.    Oh....

Glue it back on for a wall hanger.   Salvage the tuners.  Remove the front or back and put shelves into it for a guitar shaped shelf.   Good wishes.   And it's sad to see em broken.
