  • Very nice lookin build Elmer...I like it alot(can't stop lookin at it)

  • amazing.

  • Thorsten, the neck has a kinda nose to fit it into the edge of the box. Then I screw and wood glue them together. An upper screw is inclined to pull the neck tightly into the edge of the box. Two horizontal screws below pull the heel to the box. The fingerboard is then glued to the neck. I use cable ties and shift them towards the body to get a tight fit.

  • I like this alot, lovely bit of work. Would love to hear it when it's finished.

  • Elmar, how do you attach the neck to the body?

  • Steve, the intention is to make series and to expose them in a cigar shop in the city center of Vienna, where the affluent banksters buy their fat cigars. Hope to sell them for some €€€ :-)

What about building your own? I could provide you with the neck template in pdf and hints how-to via e-mail. It's a quite new experience and a lot more time consuming, but interresting to learn about violin characteristics.

  • Are you selling these Violins Elmar? ...can you make me a left-handed one? (-:

  • thanks bros! The violin is pre-designed in AutoCad, the shaped lines and f-holes are burnt with a laser cutter. I'm happy to have access to such a tools...

  • Elmar, very beautiful piece of art. The oak boards look fantastic.

  • Very, very cool. Great craftsmanship too!
