RC Cola

The peg head split when I was drilling. I said a bad word. Spread the crack and worked glue into it and clamped it overnight. Came out fine. This is another home made box using thin 3mm craft plywood for top and bottom. There is a 2.5 inch hole drilled out of the plywood top directly under the saddle.I think this is the best sounding 3 string I have heard either acoustic or plugged in (piezo). I think the thin top gets credit. That is about a foot of snow the guitar is sitting atop.

  • LOL, AGP.  Discipline.

  • "Cool" - Sometimes you have to swear at them, then leave them outside in the elements, to teach them a lesson.

  • Thanks, Calim.  Wish you could try it.

  • love it !

  • You have it right, Gary W.   A reproduction sign made of aluminum.  About  10 bucks shipped from ebay.   Yup hole under the metal (through the plywood) beneath the saddle.

    Thanks, Slim.

  • Looks cool mate, it would be though, sitting on top of all that snow! A nice job was made of that mate!

  • Another thought - is that a metal advertising sign for the R.C. Cola?  If so, I guess that explains that the 2.5" hole is hidden under that!  Or am I more confused than ever?

  • Cool.  (Maybe that's because of the snow? ;-)  JK!)

Lots to like here, Unc!  Great recovery for the crackhead, too. The other gary (sheldon) asked about the 2.5 inch hole directly under the saddle that you mention.  I'm also curious about that?  Overall, very nice and great to hear that it sounds nice, too!
