An old aluminum pot lid with drilled grills. The slot for the bridge is yet to come. I made a maple wood ring to seat the lid. No cone folks, it's a Faux. I call it FauxTone guitars inc.

It's coming together today. The lid is cut, a bridge is made, and i've done something drastic. I pulled all the frets, sanded the fretboard flat, made a thick Walnut fretboard and glued it over the plywood original. Now i have a beefy neck. The Walnut is bowed to push the old neck straight. It worked. It's clamped up till morning. The neck is almost as thick as it is wide. I'll paint fretmarkers.
