Ebony adjustable bridges (finished) with another four unfinished ones

Ebony movable bridges with phosphor bronze saddles. The saddles have a very fine thread and are an interference fit so don't move around. There are some unfinished ones which will go on the four stringer I am making.

    One of the things that still lurks in my garage from a previous career is a Tom Senior vertical milling machine. I cut long strips of ebony (see the saw marks on the sides) and then milled them. I made a couple of guides to sit them on in the vice so that they can be lined up and they all have the same dimensions. To give you and idea of the size, they are about 1" long (should have put a ruler in the shot). The shaping is done with files and abrasive paper and they are finished off with danish oil applied with fine steel wool.
