    Neither the bleach or the salt and vinegar combination worked within the time that I gave them. I even tried with heat as well as the salt and vinegar but I got nothing more than a little pinkness (because of the copper content I would guess) round the edges. Mind you, the kitchen smelt like the inside of a thousand crisp packets for about a day. I don't even like salt and vinegar crisps ;-)

    There are some other combinations I could have tried but I really wanted to get this fixed on to see if the whole thing would work (intonation adjustment, double sandwiched piezos etc.).

    I've tried to give it a design that compliments the label on the box, hence the art deco corners.

     

  • Very nice John - i take it the Bleach did not work i tried it myself and it never worked for me - did you try the salt and Vinegar mix yet ?

    anyway nice work mate looks pretty dappa - nice deco look :)
