Diddley Bow with Fabric-Covered Top and Short Neck

I had a ruined box (tragic sound hole accident) and a stick of wood that was too good to not use for something. I cast around for ideas and found some nice cream fabric with a gray map pattern. I decided to try it for covering the top of the box, which was otherwise unusable. It turned out great with a nice tone.
