Crow Jane

Quick, fun build. Straight grained pine strengthened with a stout heel and at the 'peg head'.She was going to be "Plain Jane', but she just played and sounded too good for that. Piezo. Loud and clear plugged or unplugged.

  • Looks good John, ;)

  • Thanks, Paulao!

  • very good!

  • Thanks, Dave.  I liked it too.  Jim Morris has it now.

  • The simplicity and plane look is old timey. Looks historical.... I like it Uncle.
  • Jim. I have not heard anyone call you quick!   Sappy sounds are my specialty.

  • Quick, fun and simple are all words people have used to describe me so I gotta love this one! Oh yeah - a pine neck also makes it good to play sappy songs.

  • It is.  Thanks, Rob.

Richey, I started with fretless and could not play it.   Then played fretted for a long time.   Now I am loving fretess.  I just had to understand that other than single notes where the first 3 frets would be- it's all slide, basic and elemental.    I hope you build and learn to love one.

  • Another class act John, some real old timey charm about this one. I really need to get round to making a fretless at some point. Who knows, might start one today!

  • Looks "player" friendly !!!
