  • Thanks for all the wonderful comments everyone! I always like to add a string tree for the added tension behind the nut. In this case I'd used the business end of the spoon for the string tailpiece and found myself looking at the left over handle and thought "why not". The hardest part is drilling the holes in the stainless steel. That stuff is hard and will tend to screw up the drill bit too. I have some older bits that I usually try to use for that sort of stuff.
