Come on kitty you can sing better than me!

It's great to travel but it's great to be home - and look what came in the post! An Eastwood/Airline H44 Deluxe...sounds chunky and retro so i'll be brushing up on my 6 string stuff for a bit....before I give up and tune it to open G !!There's the Slowpaw cat getting in on the act, no hat I left it in France in the care of a friend, so they'll have to ask me to come back next year now, won't they..? ;-)

  • Cool guitar, Steve !  Can't see what you've plugged the cable into but the cat's eyes are glowing ;-)

  • Tuxedo cat - love that! he looks smart in his white shirt, black jacket and white spats doesn't he?  he's always well groomed! :-)

  • UJ instead of eBGDAE  I tuned it  dBGDGG....plays all my stuff but sounds bigger! ;-)

  • That's what we call a Tuxedo cat in the U.S.  Nice cat and git.

Steve, I am pretty mediocre at six strings.   I keep 2-3 different tunings- standard, open E and open G.   For me, the big string (tuned to D) on open G messes me up more than it is worth.   My best solution has been to string the only the higher 5 strings and place them not where they would usually go, but one up toward the player - so the A string (now tuned to G for open G) is in the low E slot....  and etc.
