Before I ever made an instrument I made furniture at a shop in MD owned by this guy, Peter Danko. He relocated to York several years ago and it was great to reconnect.

    I worked for an older gent when I was 17 on the Driftwood building addition we did, later in life he went to work for me. Needless to say he still taught me a thing or two later in life about the building trade.

  • Chair man of the board. 

  • Here's one example of the type of chairs I learned to make there. We made some that were a bit more conventional too. This one is 16 layers of veneer glued up and placed into a mold.
