    forgot that the box is 13x11x2. the size of the box nay make the neck seem small

    the neck is shaped already. It is 3/4" thick with the fret board it will be 1" thick and solid. it does feel funny in the hand right now

    Very nice.  It may be the photo, but the neck looks a bit thin.
