Thanks Wes, thanks Jerry. I like using the edging wood from Woodruff Lumber. It's from industrial Duluth's history. Grain elevators and warehouses were made with timbers that Woodruff salvages. They edge the old timbers and discard the thin outer patina wood. I get it in 16 ft. lengths and hand saw it into something that fits in my Chev. I get Cedar and White Pine. My shed is full of it. The shed is made out of it. My fence is made of it. Most of my builds are made of it. :*)
Not me Erasmo. The jug is a very old wood fired Asian jug with grass writing in white slip. Somebody varnished it for unknown reason. I'm keeping it outside till it flakes all the varnish off. I got it at a rummage sale.
