  • paul that was a standard lespaul type neck with mop dot inlays, i removed the frets saved the dot inlays and drew a flame pattern that covered where the dots used to be,made the inlay from my pattern out of maple,installed the inlay and refretted the neck.[note the twelfth fret inlay had to have two single flame pieces to cover two dots] i like doing inlay work.
