I picked up a Stew Mac fret saw blade for my table saw. Today, I finished up making my sled. The aluminum template, I had made on a CNC mill....nice to have connections for freebee stuff like that. Yesterday, I went through and fine tuned the alignment of my blade, in all directions. If you want those frets fitting tight, better make sure the blade is perfectly parallel with your table's t-slots and square with the table surface! This will be a big time saver. Not to mention, a lot easier on the wrist. Good bye miter box and pull saw!!!

Thanks Bluejeans! I'll probably make up a batch of fretboard at a time, but it's pretty quick to change blades. The sled turned out perfect. I can put a finger on either outside corner and push the sled across the table. No sticking at all
Some day..... I'd want to dedicate the saw to only fretting. Set it up, and let 'er rip! (To be accurate, I guess it's let 'er crosscut!) Nice job, Rooster!
