AGP #524 – “Symmetry”3 String Fretless GuitarScale : 654mm / 25¾”Strings : .044NW / .030NW / .020NW /Tuned: G D gGot the inspiration for the Shape of this Build when I stumbled across a Utube Video about a Guitar called Symetress, built by a couple of Guitar Builders somewhere in the USA called Alder and Main, loved the look of it so decided to do a similar scaled down CBG Type version. The through Body Neck is Recycled (I think) Blackbutt Hardwood, the Body and Headstock Wings are recycled Radiata Pine, the Wings were coated with a Cedar Stain, the Neck is Au-Natural, both coated with Linseed Oil and Paste Wax.The 2 Alnico Single Coil Pickups are wired as per a Fender Precision Bass Wiring Diagram, through 250k Pots to the Output Jack. All the Copper Work was made by Moi, from opened up and flattened pieces of scrap ½” and ¾” Copper Plumbers Pipe. :-)

"Thanks Southern Ray," the Copper work is a bit Fiddly and Time Consuming, but the way to go if your looking for a bit of a Rustic Look, I have also used Flattened Corrugated Roofing Iron for the same purposes in past builds. :-)
AGP #... It's absolutely gorgeous! Love the copper work and pickups accent that body! I make a lot of my tailpieces from old corroded pipe shined up, but this eclipses my humble work! The control plate and the knobs... (grinning like an idiot)
