AGP #524 – “Symmetry”3 String Fretless GuitarScale : 654mm / 25¾”Strings : .044NW / .030NW / .020NW /Tuned: G D gGot the inspiration for the Shape of this Build when I stumbled across a Utube Video about a Guitar called Symetress, built by a couple of Guitar Builders somewhere in the USA called Alder and Main, loved the look of it so decided to do a similar scaled down CBG Type version.The through Body Neck is Recycled (I think) Blackbutt Hardwood, the Body and Headstock Wings are recycled Radiata Pine, the Wings were coated with a Cedar Stain, the Neck is Au-Natural, both coated with Linseed Oil and Paste Wax.The 2 Alnico Single Coil Pickups are wired as per a Fender Precision Bass Wiring Diagram, through 250k Pots to the Output Jack.All the Copper Work was made by Moi, from opened up and flattened pieces of scrap ½” and ¾” Copper Plumbers Pipe. :-)

Yes Copper 'UJ', still have a fair supply of the stuff, which I originally sourced from Plumbers offcuts on building sites, back in my Bricklaying days, some 20+ years ago.

"Thanks T-Gripped", The Copper Pipe work is a bit Fiddly and Time Consuming, but the way to go if your looking for a bit of a Rustic Look, the 3/4" Copper End Cap Vol Tone Knobs, were purchased Hardware Store Items :-)
