AGP #361 - “Erasmo” - (Tin in a Box Guitar) - Scale:584.2mm/23inchesStrings :.049NW/.032NW/.022NW/ - Tuning :G D gThis is a Build that has been on my “Bucket List” for a few years now, obviously inspired by the “Fastest Picker North, South, East and West of the Pecos” Erasmo Coco, sadly I think no longer on the Nation site, but is still Alive and Kicking on other Media sites, “Saluti Erasmo”The Box is Recycled Pine Fence Palings, the Neck is Tasmanian Oak, the Fretboard is Recycled Piano Poplar, a 4.3k MGB Five Dolla Pup is hardwired to the Output Jack, but is an unnecessary addition, as this Build sounds it’s best as an Unplugged Acoustic, don’t know if it will make much difference, but might add a couple of Sound Holes?. :-)

"Thanks Derek", the 'clean appearance' was more a result of happenstance than design, it was supposed to have a bit of Rustic/Ratty look about it, the Box is all held together by nails rather than glue, so there are gaps in between the boards and also the Tin, so I guess you could regard them as Sound Holes! :-)
I would be unsure that soundholes might detract from the clean appearance? Maybe the elongated parallel slotted line "holes" like on some retro reso's? These do look great as they are!

"Thanks Dave", only you could come with a word like 'Erazmoization" :-D
Just finished yet another build yesterday, might be time to get out of the work shed, and start playing and recording some of these builds. :-)
"Thanks Rev", I'll hang out in the storage shed with all my other Gits, to age and mature, like a Fine Fine or a Vintage Cheese :-D
