AGP #361 - ''Erasmo''

AGP #361 - “Erasmo” - (Tin in a Box Guitar) - Scale:584.2mm/23inchesStrings :.049NW/.032NW/.022NW/ - Tuning :G D gThis is a Build that has been on my “Bucket List” for a few years now, obviously inspired by the “Fastest Picker North, South, East and West of the Pecos” Erasmo Coco, sadly I think no longer on the Nation site, but is still Alive and Kicking on other Media sites, “Saluti Erasmo”The Box is Recycled Pine Fence Palings, the Neck is Tasmanian Oak, the Fretboard is Recycled Piano Poplar, a 4.3k MGB Five Dolla Pup is hardwired to the Output Jack, but is an unnecessary addition, as this Build sounds it’s best as an Unplugged Acoustic, don’t know if it will make much difference, but might add a couple of Sound Holes?. :-)

  • "Thanks Derek", The only design I had in mind in mind when doing this one was to do something similar to Erasmo's 2 String Chugger, with the materials I had on hand, the Box is au naturel, no stains or oils etc, but the Neck does have one coat of a Brush on French Polish, I too missed Ersmo's posts when he disappeared off the nation site, but much to mine and a lot of other peoples  delight, he can now be found on one of the Facebook CBG pages  :-)

  • Very nice Alan! Has a cool shadow box look with that design. Very cool. I do miss Erasmo's posts.
