  • "Thanks Terry", the Pickup opening was done with a regular 4 to 5 inch Angle Grinder with a Thin Blade, as per the Pic of the one I use on a regular basis, I guess you could also use a small Dremmel Type instrument with a Metal Blade, but as you already probably know just hard these Saw Blades can be !!

    As you can see in this one, there are no drill holes, However, I did do another Hand Saw Blade build some time back, as per the Pic, where I did drill holes, and will never do again!, as I lost track of the time it took and the amount of Drill Bits I went through  :-{

    Sorry Terry, CBN couldn't post the Pics ;-[

  • "Thanks Poorness", can't remember if I stole this idea from someone else, or it was my own weird design, I think it was the latter, but not sure !!  :-)

  • Hey AGP,  This build is really neat. I see that you cut an opening for the pickup. Could you comment on how you did that? I use saws to make keys for Rhumba Boxes (bass kalimbas,) and have not been able to drill holes in the steel. I assumed that inside cuts like yours would be impossible as well. Thanks...and keep up your wonderful work!

  • Now THAT's different. Well done AGP!!!

  • "Thanks UJ", I think the addition of the Timber Handle improved the look of it quite a bit! :-)
  • Great look to it, Alan.
