  Hi Terry, it's good to have contact with like minded people. I couldn't find very much information regarding building hub cap guitars, so have worked out a plan that I hope works. I didn't want any extraneous nuts and bolts, trying to keep it fairly simple. So far have built the neck, fret board, internal frame, and installed a beer cap piezo pickup which should lie just under the bridge. The assembly will begin tomorrow, trying to keep everything straight will be an act, so the strings end up parallel with the top hub cap, fingers crossed. Will take pictures and post them here somewhere.

  i'm builiding my first cigar box guitar as well...learning by trial and error, will be posting pics of it when  i am done
