AGP #240 - ''Pee90 Pan''

AGP #240 - “Pee90 Pan”(3 String Resophonic Guitar)Scale : 635mm / 25inchesStrings : .030NW / .018NW / .014PS /Tuning: D / A / d /For some reason the Missus didn’t like this particular Baking Pan and was going to throw it out !!!! (Shock Horror :-(), I took it to shed where I polished it, and just like the Genies Lamp, it morphed into this little “Beasty Boy”, If I was in the business of selling my builds (which I’m not!) this one would definitely be a keeper.Needless to say the Neck is ‘Recycled Piano Poplar’, and a 7.17k P90 type pickup is hardwired to the Jack.

  • "Lol Dave", they do look like fret markers inside the box.

  • AGP, I put my fret markers on the fretboard not inside the box.
  • "Thanks Jim", the person who bought Jerry's build for $31 on Ebay, should be reported for "Stealing"

  • "Thanks Jerry", like yours the Pan does not touch the Neck, was originally going to put a back on it and some Sound Holes in the top, and after a lot of previous attempts to capture "The Dobro Sound", this poor mans Dobro in its present form, comes as close to it as I think I can get, I may have finally hit on the right String combination???, the whole build cost the princely sum of $21.14 Australian Dollars ($15.62 US Dollars).

  • "Thanks UJ", all my builds have been keepers!!, maybe you should work on a recipe for "Build Sell" :-)

  • "Thanks Wes"

  • forgot to mention.,, I put a Gurka box lid on the back of mine, and put a piezo in the middle of that.,.i used plastic washers between the pan and the neck, so that the pan never touched the neck.,.,just loving this build of yours AGP.,.,

  • Another very cool build AGP!
