The Large Kettle Gourd was Home Grown by Moi, The Neck is recycled Mahogany Laminated Tulip Poplar, the Nut and Bridge are recycled Ebony Piano Keys, all coated with Wipe On Gloss Poly, a Piezo Disc is hardwired to the Output Jack.Modified Build 2nd July 2022: 3 String Fretless Gourd Guitar, The Large (now trimmed down) Kettle Gourd was Home Grown by Moi, The Neck is now recycled Mahogany Laminated Tulip Poplar and Merbau, coated with Shellac. A 5.1k Single Coil Silver Foil Pickup is wired through Vol and Tone pots to the Output Jack.

  • Now thats a gorgous looking Build AGP# ! so traditional  so Folky ! Jim must love this one ! she got a great body as they say ! 

  • I like the modified build AGP!  I have found heavy nylon trimmer line string to be very muted with no sustain at all, so I changing to 3 guitar strings should improve the tone substantially. I think the gourd is cool; have never tried one myself.
