AF Reso Lap Steel

Single-coil pickup in an Arturo Fuente box. My wife gave me an old busted vegetable steamer that I took apart and used for the resonator and the tailpiece. Chrome tuners, bolt nut, and dowel pin bridge. The neck is made of poplar and the fretboard is oak. I stained everything with Minwax "gunstock" stain, wood-burned the frets, and used some AF box trim for the fret markers. Tuned D-G-D-B.

    Looks great. I bet there will be many veggie steamers go missing now from kitchen cupboards, and builders begging wives for forgiveness, haha.
