Handy for rounding edges. 2 flat surfaces, one mild one aggressive. 2 mildly rounded surfaces, one mild, one aggressive. One of my dad's old tools and dear to me.

That's a classic. I've got one like it as well, one of my favorite tools. Seems I bought it in the States last year, probably at Home Depot or Lowes. They call it a "hobbyist file" as I recall. I'm planning on buying another. I am also planning on buying another razor saw, a spoke shave, and probably a dozen other hand tools with any luck. What I can get in China is quite limited, and often not very high quality (but cheap, price wise). I'll tend to summer in the States because of the extreme heat and humidity in southern China. Happy wood working!

Got one here too, over 50 yrs old at least. Dont recall where it came from, possibly grandfathers stuff.
Still use it regularly, one of my favorite things I reach for.
