My first attempt from found items. I would never have believed it would be playable and has an old-time tone of it's own - great character! And the tin had a pint glass and bottle commemorating Guinness's 250 anniversary - doesn't get better than that! Tuned open E 1-4.

    Hi Keith. Thanks for your comment. I think the strings were a spare set of D'addario electric and the E was probably a 12.

    Wonderful.  It looks as good as you describe.  Good on you.  It is 0827 here and I want a Guinness.
