Im a Housepainter all of my live, so every 5 years i do the big renual & paint job ,its now in holland against the law to just use a ladder, and i am obligated to use a scaffold, but i prefur a ladder thats where i got my balance, the scaffold i think is more scary! only handy to put all the roof tilles on ,so you do not need to go up and down the ladder for every tile, but be asured it all went well and the job is done , next spring i have to do the rear side! but dont worry guys, just so you all know!!
Not sure if it's a brave or unwise move going that far up a ladder these days Andries, my Doctor and Wife have barred me from ladders of any height, even sitting on a high Bar Stool make me a bit jittery lately! :-D
Renuwal of the windchime and painting , Ahhh we the Slaves of property stuck in bondage to our posecions ! but tomorrow is another day , back to live and play !

Nice one Andries. I have to do a similar thing when I clean my roof gutters. Have to remind myself not to lean too far over.
